The design concept for this single storey extension revolved around creating a space that would be the main focal point of the house for the family. By combining all of the main features a home requires in one space, we delivered this project to a high quality specification which complimented our clients choice with their furnished room.
From the moment you enter through the crittall style french doors you are met with a glazed panoramic set of sliding doors which captures the scenic green space to the rear garden which lights up the large kitchen and dining area.
The living space has a picturesque window bay seat which also highlights the green space in the garden creating a connection from the inside to the outdoors.
In addition to the rear elevation glazed sections, the extension has 2 flat roof lights above each zone which has a blue tint to the glass to prevent solar gain from heating the space to an uncomfortable temperature.
